i have always wanted to review an album

CANNIBAL CORPSE- Eviseration plague 8/10
metal balde records
01. Priests of Sodom
02. Scalding Hail
03. To Decompose
04. A Cauldron of Hate
05. Beheading and Burning
06. Evidence in the Furnace
07. Carnivorous Swarm
08. Evisceration Plague
09. Shatter Their Bones
10. Carrion Sculpted Entity
11. Unnatural
12. Skewered From Ear to Eye

Most will argue that Cannibal corpse is the pioneers of death metal. i will not disagree this statment to the least but will only argue over who was better, fisher or barnes. though we all secretly wish we could see them both on stage together and preform stripped, raped, and strangled or hammer smashed face. looking to the past, artwork and song title was what used to be what would determine the greatness of the album . forutnately that is not the case because this cd looks the artwork and song titles from previious albums, but would this album does have is errie riffs, smooth leads, and suprising lots of groves from Paul Mazurkiewicz. right from the opeing track, priest of sodom, with the signature fisher screech, the groove shines the most. in the past, a groove section would last a few seconds and now they have let it go and give ya chance to find the tempo. for all you deathcore kids, this is the most "scene" freindly song in the cannibal catalouge. the album quickly picks up the pace with scalding hail with the signature sounding blast beats. for sweet leads that make pat o brien shine as usual, proceed to unnatural.
this album marks thier 11th release from the Orignal deathmetaller of NY. it does not dissapoint and after 20 years, they are still improving on them selves, blasting speed that might be faster than any other realease, and yet, they can stop on a pin drop. Cannibal is the greastest death metal band and might will be the first band to make it to the hall of fame if they were to ever consider death metal
